Growing up in a musical household in Central Illinois, I began studying cello at the age of nine. The instrument led me to perform in multiple youth symphonies, chamber music ensembles, and pit orchestras, deepening my love for classical and sacred musical settings.

After relocating to Nashville in 2012 with my family, I attended Belmont University to pursue my newfound passion for recording. I began my freelance career with the founding of Mirko Recording in January 2020, where I started cutting my teeth on demo recording and mixing out of my home studio.

Since then, I’ve had the honor of mixing FOH, broadcast, and recording for various venues and houses of worship throughout the Nashville area, working with artists such as Stephen Curtis Chapman, Jeremy Camp, Amy Grant, Kenny Loggins, Cody Fry, ERNEST, Jelly Roll, Keith and Kristyn Getty, The Isaacs, Buddy Greene, Selah, The Nashville String Machine, Zach and Maggie, Music City Brass Ensemble, Smokie Norful, Odessa Settles, The King’s Brass, The Middle Tennessee Sinfonietta, Jabari Johnson, and many more.

In 2025, I began working in video, concentrating on documentary style interviews and short form content.
